Email-to-document tutorial
Fax a document you received by email
Download the attachment to your device, open it to verify the contents, then upload the supported file to FaxFor99. You do not need to forward your email or grant access to your inbox. This is a browser upload service, not an email-forwarding fax address.

How do I fax an attachment step by step?
- 1Open the message and identify the attachment the recipient actually needs. Do not upload the whole conversation by mistake.
- 2Use your email app’s download or save control to store the attachment on your device.
- 3Open the saved file. Check page count, completed fields, signatures, and that the download finished.
- 4If it is a Word file, export it as PDF from Word before continuing. PDF, JPG, JPEG, and PNG are supported.
- 5On FaxFor99, select Choose files and choose the saved attachment. Add a required cover sheet first if the recipient supplied one.
- 6Enter the verified fax number and your delivery email, check the exact total, and pay once. Keep the private status link.
Can I just forward the message to FaxFor99?
No. FaxFor99 does not provide an email-to-fax forwarding address. Use the browser uploader for the specific files you want to transmit.
Your confirmation email address receives delivery updates; it is not used to read your inbox. Only the files you select become part of the fax. A subject line, email signature, or earlier conversation is not included automatically.
What if the message contains a link instead of a file?
Open the link through the document owner’s normal access process and download an authorized copy. Upload the saved PDF or supported image; pasting a sharing link does not upload its contents.
A cloud document may change after you download it. Check that the copy is the final version before sending, especially when signatures or dates were added later. Do not change sharing permissions to make a private document public just to fax it.
What if I need to fax the email text itself?
Create a PDF from the specific message using your email app’s print or export option, then review the PDF before uploading it.
Print layouts can add headers, conversation history, or extra blank pages. Include only what the recipient needs and check that attachments appear as actual pages if they are required. A printed attachment icon is not the attachment’s contents.
